By Weisbart Springer Hayes
AUSTIN — The Austin litigation firm Weisbart Springer Hayes LLP has announced that Sara Janes has become a partner in the firm.
“Sara Janes is an extraordinary lawyer. I have had the pleasure of working closely with her for several years and could not be happier that she is our partner” says co-founding partner Butch Hayes. “I’m sure those who have worked with and against her would echo my strong belief that she represents the highest level of professionalism, advocacy and judgment. We are very lucky to have her in our partnership.”
Ms. Janes graduated with honors from The University of Texas School of Law in 2006, where she was a Notes Editor for the Texas Law Review. She practiced with Norton Rose Fulbright in Austin prior to joining Weisbart Springer Hayes in 2012.
Ms. Janes has represented Fortune 100 companies, mid-size companies, start- ups, and individuals in complex employment, commercial and technology-related disputes. Her appellate practice has required her to become deeply involved in a range of cases, including those involving contract disputes, labor and employment, trade secret theft, complex divorce and international child custody, class action, health care, pharmaceutical, trademark, and insurance matters in trial and appellate courts across the nation.
Ms. Janes has been consistently recognized as a Texas Rising Star every year since 2011, placing her among the state’s most promising and successful young lawyers under the age of 40.
“Sara is an exceptional attorney who is widely regarded for her outstanding written work, as well as her critical analysis of complex disputes. We are so honored and proud to have her as our partner.” says partner Julie Springer.
