By Weisbart Springer Hayes

AUSTIN, Texas – The three founding partners of the Austin law firm Weisbart Springer Hayes LLP have earned repeat honors on the Texas Super Lawyers list, which is currently on newsstands in the October 2012 issues of Texas Monthly and Texas Super Lawyers magazines.

This marks the 10th consecutive year that firm founder Geoffrey D. Weisbart has been named one of the top attorneys in Texas, and fellow firm founders Julie A. Springer and Sherrard “Butch” Hayes earned repeat recognition in the exclusive 2012 list of the state’s top lawyers.

Mr. Weisbart represents both defendants and plaintiffs in a wide range of business-related disputes, including extensive experience in class action, aviation, employment, tort and business litigation matters during the past 25 years.

Ms. Springer provides extensive experience representing clients in all types of civil and employment disputes in federal and state courts in Texas and throughout the U.S. She is one of the few attorneys in Texas who is Board Certified in both Labor and Employment Law and Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

Mr. Hayes handles complex commercial litigation in courtrooms across the nation, successfully trying a range of cases in Texas federal and state courts involving high-stakes business, technology and employment matters. He is the former partner-in-charge of the Austin office of Fulbright & Jaworski, the largest law firm in Austin and one of the largest in the nation.

Thomson Reuters researchers compile the Texas Super Lawyers list based on nominations solicited from the more than 70,000 practicing lawyers in Texas. A blue-ribbon panel of lawyers assists with final selections, and less than 5 percent of all Texas attorneys earn the honor each year. This complete list is available online at http://www.superlawyers.com.
