Three Firm Attorneys Honored Again as Texas Rising Stars

By Weisbart Springer Hayes

The firm is proud to announce that Danielle Hatchitt, James Hatchitt and John Runde have been named again to the list of Texas Rising Stars in the publication’s 2023 edition. Texas Rising Stars honorees are selected by Thomson Reuters’ legal division, recognizing the state’s best lawyers under the age of 40 and those who have been practicing law for no more than 10 years. The attorneys are selected based on nominations from other lawyers across Texas and an extensive review by the publication’s editors.

This is the eighth consecutive year that Danielle appears on the list, based on her success representing plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of complex business disputes. Her practice has involved litigation in real estate, municipal law issues, Title IX, partnership disputes, fiduciary litigation, breach of contract, intellectual property protection, breach of non-competition and non-solicitation agreements, and other general employment claims, including discrimination and harassment.

James is honored for the sixth time in his career, which includes extensive experience in representing plaintiffs and defendants in both state and federal courts. His work has included claims involving business torts, fraud, contracts, insurance coverage, employment disputes, real estate, and fiduciary and probate matters.

This is the third consecutive appearance on the list for John, who represents plaintiffs and defendants in a broad range of commercial litigation involving complex contract and fiduciary duty disputes, real estate disputes, employment discrimination litigation, and a multitude of other employment matters. Before attending law school, he served in the United States Marine Corps for six years and was deployed to Iraq in 2007-2008.

The complete 2023 Texas Rising Stars listing will appear in the April issues of Texas Monthly and Texas Rising Stars magazines.
