iPhone Case Lawsuit Seeks $10M

An Austin-based iPhone case designer is accusing a global mobile accessory brand of breaking contractual obligations and oral promises, causing intentional harm to the company and damaging its reputation. Without a copy of the licensing agreement, it’s difficult to tell how strong SharkEye’s claim is in this complicated case, said Butch Hayes, a partner at Weisbart Springer Hayes LLP, who was briefed on the case but not involved.
