Mireya Braxton received her law degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law. While there, she served in leadership positions for several student-led organizations, including an editorial position for the First Amendment Law Review, as a faculty research assistant on environmental law matters, and as a researcher on legal issues affecting the university’s athletic department.
Mireya received her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, where she earned numerous academic honors. An accomplished student-athlete in high school and college, she was a starter on her NCAA Division 1 volleyball team.
