By Weisbart Springer Hayes

AUSTIN — Weisbart Springer Hayes is pleased to announce that firm partners Mia Storm and Matt Wood, together with attorney Danielle Hatchitt, have been named to the 2018 Texas Rising Stars list of the state’s top young lawyers.

This is the second year for Ms. Storm to earn this recognition for her work in a broad range of complex business litigation across the nation, including real estate disputes, fiduciary litigation, partnership disputes, breach of contract matters, intellectual property protection and a variety of employment matters.

This is the fourth year that Mr. Wood has been recognized for client representation in litigation claims that involve breach of contract, trade secrets, employment and discrimination issues, patent infringement, software licensing, and administrative law.

This is the third year for Ms. Hatchitt to be named to the list, based on her work representing plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of complex business disputes, including lawsuits involving real estate, breach of contract, breach of non-competition and non-solicitation agreements, misappropriation of trade secrets, and other general employment claims, including discrimination and harassment.

Texas Rising Stars honorees are selected by Thomson Reuters’ legal division, recognizing the state’s best lawyers under the age of 40 and those who have been practicing law for no more than 10 years. The honored attorneys are selected based on nominations from other lawyers across Texas and an extensive review by the publication’s editors. The complete 2018 Texas Rising Stars listing appears in the April issues of Texas Monthly and Texas Rising Stars magazines.
